“Skate to where the puck is going, not to where it’s been.”

I don’t remember when I heard this, but I love this quote. I talk a lot about being able to see what’s coming, because just like when you drive a car, the more time you have to brake or maneuver, the less likely an accident.

Understanding where you are is good, but understanding where you want to go is better.
