I really believe in plan b. Too often, things don’t work out as you planned and then what?  When panic sets in is usually the worst time to figure out what to do next.

My lessons learned on the ultimate plan B?

Cash.

When you have cash, you have options. You can either pay someone to deal with your problem. You can help others. You can invest in the market when it’s going down. You can afford to fix whatever broke. You can buy time.

But most importantly, you won’t get boxed into making bad choices. This post struck me (forgive the profanity) because it’s powerful.

Don’t give up your options.
