A colleague of mine’s little girl has been going through some tough medical issues, but always with a smile and spirit that is just amazing. This is a saying they had posted in the hospital.

It’s a reminder of so many things: of the unexpected places you find heroes, of the unexpected people who come to your aid. Of how you can’t take the good for granted, and the things that annoy you today are trivial in the face of something really big. Of believing in something that gives you strength.
