Here&#8217;s something that I found interesting. Leadership is along a continuum of <strong>power<\/strong> on one side and <strong>attractiveness<\/strong> on another.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Power<\/strong> is about authority, influence, and resources. <strong>Attractiveness<\/strong> is about likeability. You need to have both. Why?<\/p>\n<p><em>You need enough power to be taken seriously<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><em>You need enough attractiveness so others want to help you.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Many of us naturally fall somewhere along that line: the extremes are strong power &#8211; people who can execute, but can be viewed as rude, intimidating\u00a0or abrupt. Others are strong attractive- well liked but viewed as soft, weak, or ineffective.\u00a0 The goal is to be blended.<\/p>\n<p>Where do you naturally fall?
